Striking a balance of difficulty and variety is the key. The puzzles in most point and click games are the lifeblood of the game. It took me six tries and three accessory swaps with Marcus before I was able to defeat the final boss, and that was only just barely. The finally boss is very overpowered and even playing your cards with care does not mean a win, a large amount of luck is also at play. I had lost access to Elizabeth so I was stuck, luckily, with her final armor and sword, but unable to swap out accessories if I needed to. I was lucky in the fact that in Book 5 they give and take characters from your party as they split up so that by the time I did face the final boss I had both characters mostly setup to face it. I managed to miss the first point where the glitch happens, but by Book 4 (out of 5 total) I somehow gained it. The character you do not have access to will lag behind in battles lacking the most powerful cards of the new equipment and the new abilities that you cannot activate. This is especially troublesome when your characters level up or gain new equipment. This glitch will result in you not having access to one of the two characters. The PlayStation 4 version currently has a strange party glitch late in the game. Preferably before the invading armies arrived.
